HealthSpring replaces Vermont Blue Advantage as VSTRS Medicare Advantage Provider for 2026

Effective 1/1/2026, HealthSpring has replaced Vermont Blue Advantage as the administrator and insurer of the VSTRS Retiree Medicare Advantage Plans. HealthSpring has built its plans to match or improve the current VSTRS plans.

The Medicare Advantage VSTRS 65 plan is now called Advantage 65 to avoid confusion with the VEHI VSTRS 65 plan.
